Bond Hearing Scheduled for Carmen Collins

KATHLEEN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A new bond hearing is set for the 17-year-old Kathleen teen charged with the murder of her sister.

Carmen Collins is expected to appear in court September 13.

Public Defender Nick White says he wanted to postpone the hearings until he could “find a resident outside of Houston County for her if she was granted bond”.

Collins is charged with murder in the death of her 12-year-old sister, India Collins and first degree arson for allegedly setting her parent’s house on fire.
