Bomb Threat Shuts Down Walmart
An early morning bomb threat shut down Walmart on Watson Boulevard on Tuesday.
According to a news release, a bomb threat was called into the store around 8:40am
Walmart and shoppers were evacuated from the store for 3 hours. Canine units from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Dooly County, and Robins Air Force Base searched the store and surrounding area.
Police did not find any suspicious material after the search. No injuries were reported.
Authorities are continuing to investigate.
