Bomb Threat Forces DFCS Evacuation

On Wednesday afternoon Macon Police and the Macon-Bibb Fire Department responded to the Department of Family and Children Services on Oglethorpe Street.

Dozens of people where forced to wait outside the building for more than 30 minutes while officials investigated.

According to Macon Police spokesperson Jami Gaudet, authorities did not find a bomb during their search.
