Bomb Robot Keeps Macon Officers Away From Explosions

The Macon Bomb Squad took part in career day at HeardElementary School today. One of the more popular attractions of the event was the bomb robot.

That’s right, Macon Police use technology to do the dirty work, especially when a tough situation can turn into an explosion.

“Everything that the body can do, the robot can do,” said Sergeant Wilton Collins of the Macon Police Department.

Whenever a serious bomb threatens Collins and the Macon Bomb Squad meet the explosive head on with a unique counter attack. The team uses a state of the art bomb killing Robot to get the job done.
