Body of homeless man found in downtown Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The body of a middle-aged homeless man was found inside a small park at the corner of Cherry and Third Street Monday morning.
According to Coroner Leon Jones, the man was identified as 53-year-old Charles Gregory Willis from Forest Park, Georgia.
A call about the body was placed around 7 a.m. The cause of death is unknown but Jones doesn’t suspect foul play.
Jones says Willis’ family should contact him at 478-256-6716.
