Body Found In Vacant Home In Macon

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the death of a man, after his body was located inside a vacant residence at 1115 Sixth Street.

A couple interested in purchasing the residence discovered the body in a back room.

Investigators were called to the home shortly after 12:00p.m., Wednesday.

The man has been identified as Arthur Williams, according to Macon-Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones. The body will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab in an attempt to determine the cause of death.
