Body found in Macon on Dorothy Drive
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The body of a Macon man was found on Dorothy Drive Friday afternoon.
The man’s nephew found 60-year-old Charles Daniel deceased in the basement of a home the two men had lived in. Ronnie Miley, the deputy coroner for Macon-Bibb County, said Daniel likely died of natural causes and had been dead for approximately a month before being discovered around 1 p.m.
The Coroner’s office wants to remind citizens to keep an eye on their neighbors, especially during the hot summer months.
“We constantly ask people to continue to check on their relatives,” said Miley. “Especially now that, you know, where it’s turning into the season where it’s hot. And we’re asking people to check… talk to their neighbors.”
