Body found inside Macon home

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County coroner is investigating a body found inside a home on Lincoln Avenue in Macon.

Coroner Leon Jones identified the body as 65-year-old Douglass Stephens. He tells 41NBC there were no signs of foul play, like a gunshot wound or stab wound. An autopsy will be scheduled.

Jones adds the body was so badly decomposed, it look like the man has been dead for a few days.
