Body found in Milledgeville
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was found dead inside his home, Monday.
Milledgeville police say John Webb’s decomposed body was found inside his South Wayne Street apartment.
A maintenance worker discovered the body around 3 p.m., and called police.
Milledgeville Police Major Reginald Hill says investigators do not suspect foul play and believe Webb died of natural causes.
Police found several medications in Webb’s apartment, he was taking for health issues.
The police major says Webb’s body was “badly decomposed.” Investigators estimate he died around May 1.
