Body found in Macon home

Macon, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man was found dead inside his home, Friday.

Bibb County Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley says Stewart Mullins’ body was decomposed. Miley believes Mullins has been dead for “at least” two days.

He was discovered at his home, located at 1045 Patterson Street, during a welfare check.

Although Bibb County Sheriff’s investigators were on the scene, Miley says they do not suspect foul play, and believe the man died of natural causes. He lived alone.

Mullins’ step father was at the scene but declined making a comment.
