Body Found in Crawford County

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department and the GBI office in Perry discovered an unidentified body Saturday afternoon. 

The remains of a white male were found in a shallow grave in a wooded area off of Fair Play Hill Road. Officials were able to take additional evidence from the scene, as the body was well preserved.

The body was taken to the GBI Crime lab in Macon where an autopsy
is scheduled for tomorrow.
