Bobby Lamb Radio Show Starts Thursday

MACON, Georgia (MERCER ATHLETICS) – Mercer Athletics, in partnership with Clear Channel Broadcasting Inc. and Wild Wing Café, has announced the dates for the inaugural season of The Bobby Lamb Coaches Show, set to debut live from Wild Wing Cafe at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 29.

The Bobby Lamb Coaches Show will feature the Mercer football head coach alongside “The Voice of the Bears”, Rick Cameron in an hour-long program each week. The show will be aired live at the Wild Wing Café in the Shoppes at River Crossing each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out for the show, which will be broadcasted throughout the restaurant.

After the show’s debut on Thursday, Cameron and Lamb will rejoin each Thursday throughout the 2013 season. All shows can be heard live on FOX Sports 1670 AM, and certain broadcasts will include guest appearances.

“This is a great opportunity for us to give our fans added insight into our team throughout the season,” said Lamb. “We want to thank Wild Wing Café and Clear Channel for helping us take advantage of another opportunity to build this program.”

Lamb leads Mercer back to the gridiron for the first time in over 70 years on Aug. 31 against Reinhardt. Radio coverage of the game can be heard starting at 5:45 p.m. on FOX Sports 1670 AM.
