‘Bikers for Bob Charity Ride’ to raise awareness about cancer

The ride is in support of Bob Melvin who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and to raise awareness about cancer.

MONTEZUMA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)  —  The Bikers for Bob Charity Ride, benefitting Bob Melvin, is March 16th.

The ride is in support of Bob Melvin who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and to raise awareness about cancer. The event is also to support the Central Georgia Cancer Care Foundation and others in the community who are battling cancer.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the bike ride begins at 11 a.m.

Motorcycles, cars, trucks, sling shots and side-by-side vehicles are allowed, but not dirt bikes or four-wheelers.

The registration fee for riders is $25 and vendors are $30.

The ride will take place at Flint River Farm School Historical Park, located at 25 Flint River School Rd.
