Bibb Tax Preparer Charged With Tax Fraud and ID Theft

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Thursday the IRS announced a Bibb County tax preparer is charged with tax fraud and identity theft.  Willie C. Grant owned and operated Grant Income Tax Bookkeeping and Check Cash. 

A federal grand jury indicted Grant on March 15 with 23 counts of making false claims for tax refunds, four counts of theft of government money and four counts of aggravated identity theft. 

The indictment was unsealed Wednesday.
