Bibb Sheriff’s Office Looking for Masked Men Who Stole Car From Gas Station

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating two men who robbed a man and stole his car while he was filling up with gas early Friday morning.

According to a news release, John Lee of Sun City, Florida was fueling his car around 3:42a.m. at the Murphy USA gas station on Harrison Road, when two masked men came up to him and demanded money.

One of suspects had a gun. After getting money from Lee, the two men stole Lee’s car and drove off. Lee was not hurt.

Deputies found Lee’s car less than a mile away at the Chambers Cove Apartment Complex. No one was in the car, and the engine was still running.

The two suspects are described as having dark skin and having a slender build. One suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket, the other a blue jean jacket. Both were wearing bandannas over their face.
