Bibb schools offers free meals for kids during the summer

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County School District is making sure children have a meal, especially now that school is out for summer break.

From now until July 17th, anyone 18 and younger can get a free meals. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be offered at various locations throughout the county.

“We know that parents are in need of a little help during the summer. During school time they have those two meals that they don’t have to worry about because the school provides breakfast and lunch automatically for them,” explained the Summer Meal Program Coordinator Bernice Tukes.
