Bibb Schools Hosting Kindergarten Registration Roundup

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County School District is hosting a Kindergarten Registration Roundup starting Monday, April 22nd through Friday, May 17th.

Parents and guardians can head to the district’s Welcome Center located at 2003 Riverside Drive in Macon between the hours 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. Registration is for the 2013-2014 school year.

Children must be 5 years-old on or before September 1, 2013 to register. Parents will need to bring proof of residence, the child’s certified birth certificate and social security card, immunization records, and a certificate of dental, ear, and eye screening.

Spanish speaking parents who need an interpreter should make an appointment for one of the follow Wednesdays: April 24, May 1, May 8, or May 15.
