Bibb school board to hold public forums for input on school system decision

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  The Bibb County School Interim Superintendent wants the public’s input on a major decision that will impact the district’s future.

The board has to decide if the district will operate as an Investing in Educational Excellence, Charter, or Status Quo School System. 

Dr. Kelley Castlin-Gacutan will be hosting public forums every Tuesday and Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. for the next three weeks. 

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, January 20: Westside High School Media Center, 2851 Heath Road
Wednesday, January 21: Howard High School Auditorium, 6400 Forsyth Road 
Tuesday, January 27: Central High School Media Center, 2155 Napier Avenue
Wednesday, January 28: Northeast High School Media Center, 1646 Upper River Road
Tuesday, February 3: Southwest High School Auditorium, 1775 Williamson Road
Wednesday, February 4: Rutland High School Cafeteria, 6250 Skipper Road
