Bibb School Board Takes No Action During Hours-Long Executive Session

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After nearly three and a half hours in executive session,
the Bibb School Board takes no action.

The board met Thursday night behind closed doors to discuss pending litigation and personnel issues.

The district faces the beginning of two lawsuits on Friday, one over the legality of Superintendent Dr. Romain Dallemand’s contract and another concerning a lease agreement for the old Ballard-Hudson building.

The board was also expected to possibly discuss Dallemand’s future with the school district after reports last week said he was seeking a buyout.

Thursday night, no action was taken and board members refused to comment about what happened during executive session.
