Bibb School Board Members Won’t Comment on Buyout of Dallemand Contract; Called Meeting Postponed
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County School Board members may be preparing to consider cutting ties with Superintendent Dr. Romain Dallemand.
That’s according to a report in today’s Macon Telegraph. The report says Dr. Dallemand suggested the school district buy-out his contract in a closed meeting earlier this month.
The Telegraph credits three un-named sources–who said Dallemand told board members, it’s time for him to leave that post.
41 NBC has talked to several school board members today who would neither confirm nor comment on this report.
Board members were scheduled to discuss personnel matters and litigation in a meeting this afternoon, but that meeting was post-poned because of “unavailability of essential parties.”
