BCSO: Masked man robs east Macon Dollar General

Deputies say a masked man entered the store with a firearm and demanded money from the store clerk.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that happened in east Macon on Friday night.

Deputies say it happened at the Dollar General on Emery Road just after 9:30 p.m.

Deputies say a masked man entered the store with a firearm and demanded money from the store clerk.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left. No one was injured.
