Bibb investigators need help identifying person of interest in homicide

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is hoping surveillance pictures will help deputies identify a person of interest in the murder of Jontavious Towns.

Deputies are also looking for a gold car, believed to be a Honda Accord or Toyota.

Deputies say Towns was spotted getting inside the car at a gas station near the Roadway Inn on Romeiser Road during the middle of the night on Sunday, October 29th.

The same car was then identified next to a white SUV at the Roadway Inn. Deputies are looking for the person standing outside the car at that time.

Towns was found dead in the driveway of 1557 Rosecrest Avenue on Halloween.
