Bibb drug bust sends four people to jail

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Four men are in jail after Bibb deputies found $15,000 worth of cocaine in a car.

The drug bust happened Friday night around 9:00. Investigators stopped a car leaving a home on Beddingfield Avenue and found cocaine and more than $2,000 inside. Deputies say the car was pulled over for not stopping at a stop sign. 39-year-old Sherrod Davis and 53-year-old Gary Jolly are charged with trafficking cocaine.

Deputies used a search warrant to go into the Beddingfield Avenue home. Inside, they found two men with outstanding warrants. 38-year-old Antonio Cable is charged with probation violation. 57-year-old Ray Kendrick has an outstanding warrant from Warren County.

Cable, Davis and Jolly were denied bond. Kendrick is being held at the Bibb County jail for the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
