Bibb deputies seek person of interest connected to armed robbery in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest connected to an armed robbery outside a Macon bank.

Deputies said the incident happened around 2:48 p.m. September 3 at the Bank of America on 3855 Bloomfield Road. According to investigators, a man approached a patron at the ATM and took an undisclosed amount of money.

The person of interest was last seen fleeing the scene on foot, the sheriff’s office said.
