Bibb deputies searching for missing Macon woman

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public’s help to find a missing Macon woman.

The sheriff’s office tells 41NBC 31-year-old Melissa Nicole Bryant was last seen by a friend on August 6 around 5 p.m on the 3000 block of  Houston Avenue. Bryant was picked up by a friend who took her to her house. Investigators say Bryant told her friend she was going to check herself into the crisis center at a local hospital.

According to a family member, this is not the first time Bryant has disappeared for days without contacting anyone. Her family adds Bryant suffers from bipolar disorder and schiziophrenia and she may not be taking her medications.

Bryant is 5’2” and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has black, straight, shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She also has a tattoo of the name “Nicole” on her left arm. She was last seen wearing a brown polo shirt and beige shorts.
