Bibb Deputies Search for Flash Foods Robber

flash foods suspectMACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a man accused of robbing the Flash Foods Gas Station on Thomaston Road early Monday morning.

According to a news release, a black male suspect entered the store around 3:00 a.m. Witnesses say he was wearing a plastic bag over his head and approached the clerk while she was cleaning. The release states he grabbed her and demanded money from the register.

Deputies say he didn’t show a weapon. The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in the incident.

The sheriff’s office says the suspect was last seen running from the store. He was wearing a t-shirt, gray shorts with red and white stripes, and black socks with no shoes. He’s described as 5’09” and weighs 160 pounds.
