Bibb deputies search for credit card fraud suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance identifying a credit card fraud suspect.

According to a news release, the suspect would target convenience store customers paying for their gas in cash. He would promise them double the amount of gas they were going to pay for in return for the cash. He would then use a fake credit card to purchase the gas.

The act has been committed at multiple gas stations.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
