Bibb deputies search for 3 men in attempted armed robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for 3 men who attempted to rob a man outside of Tony’s Wash House located at 1338 Gray Highway around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday.

According to a news release, 60-year-old Yusuff Churchill was getting in his car after closing the business when a man hit him in the head with what he believes was a gun. Churchill says two other men were with the suspect at the time.

Yusuff yelled and the three men fled the scene.

They’re described as 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet in height and between the ages of 20 to 30 years old.

Yusuff was treated at the scene for a cut over his eye.
