Bibb deputies looking for an armed robbery suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office released a photo of an armed robbery suspect and is asking for the public’s assistance identifying him.

According to a news release, 61-year-old David Lord was parking in the parking lot of the Best Western Riverside Inn on Riverside Drive, when he was approached by a man demanding money.

Witnesses say when Lord refused, the suspect hit him on the head with an unknown object and fled the scene.
