Bibb deputies investigating shooting incident

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot Wednesday afternoon.

The Bibb Sheriff’s Office says the shooting incident happened around 5 p.m. on Brentwood Avenue. Investigators say 22-year-old Kenyata Francis drove himself to the hospital after he was shot in his mid-section.

Francis is in stable condition.

The sheriff’s office is interviewing possible witnesses. No other information is available at this time.
