Bibb deputies investigating shooting in Bloomfield area

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday morning in the Bloomfield neighborhood.

A news release says a man was shot on Bonnie Avenue and Nesbitt Drive just before 7:30 a.m. Bibb deputies say 23-year-old Michael Gribble and two men were riding in an orange Honda Accord when an argument started.

The release states the man in the passenger seated exited the vehicle and shot Gribble in the stomach and fled the scene. The driver fled the scene when the shooting happened also.

Gribble flagged down a Macon Transit Authority bus driver for help and was taken to take to a local hospital . He is listed in sable condition

The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt and brown cargo pants.
