Bibb Deputies investigating shooting on Atwood Drive

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a person show on Atwood Drive Wednesday evening. They responded just after 9:30 P.M. to the home at 3721 Atwood Drive.

One of the residents reported three males came to the house looking for the victim, Shaquille Stallworth, 22.

The woman who answered the door told the men that Stallworth wasn’t there. She closed the door and then just a few minutes later, she stated, a male came to the door and Stallworth answered.

The suspect demanded Stallworth’s phone and just as he was trying to close the front door, the man shot him once.

Stallworth was taken to Navicent Health Hospital with a gunshot wound. He was alert and responsive at the scene and is listed in stable condition.

The suspect was described as a black male, armed with a gun.
