Bibb Deputies Investigating Early Morning Shooting
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a suspect wanted in connection with an early Monday morning shooting.
According to a news release, the incident happened around midnight near the corner of Ceder Avenue and Moseley Avenue. Witnesses told deputies 34-year-old Pierre Williams was at a party in the area when an argument started and an unknown male pulled a pistol and began shooting.
Williams was shot in the foot. He was taken to the Coliseum Hospital by friends. Williams is listed in stable condition.
Investigators are interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence to identify the suspect.
