Bibb deputies investigate gas station car theft

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help identifying a car theft suspect.

According to a news release, the victim left his truck running while he went inside the Petro gas station on Hawkinsville Road around 8:11 a.m., Wednesday.

A witness stated a man entered the victim’s truck and drove off heading towards Warner Robins.

The stolen vehicle is a blue 2001 Chevrolet 3500 with license plate number 952ZXM.
