Bibb deputies arrest teen in Chatham Street shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested a teen in connection to a shooting that happened at a home on Chatham Street.

According to a news release, 17-year-old Shannon Dominique Robello was arrested around 5:30 p.m., Thursday.

Deputies say 38-year-old James Christopher Smith was shot around 2:00 p.m., Monday. After visiting his child at the mother of his child’s house, he ran into Robello, the mother’s boyfriend. The two started arguing and then Smith was shot.

He was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Robello is charged with aggravated assault. He has a $16,700 bond.
