Bibb deputies arrest man for stealing shirts from grocery store

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is in jail and accused of stealing packs of shirts from a grocery store.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office tells 41NBC 22-year-old Andre Diadell Jr. broke into the old drive thru window at the Bloomfield Grocery on Bloomfield Road around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Investigators say he took several packs of shirts.

Diadell was found a few blocks away at the Macon Convenient Store shirtless and carrying a backpack. The sheriff’s office say he had the shirts that were stolen from the grocery store and a crowbar.

Diadell is charged with three counts of burglary and one count of criminal attempt to commit burglary. He is booked in the Bibb County jail without bond.
