Bibb County Sheriff’s Office to host Winter Wonderland

Cpl. Tamekia Nelson says there will be 100 bikes given away and nearly 1,000 toys for attendees. 

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is hosting “Winter Wonderland” for Bibb County residents.

Cpl. Tamekia Nelson says the event is free and open to the community. The event is aimed at kids ages 4-14.

“Winter Wonderland” will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 14 at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach & Restorative Justice Center, located at 774 Hazel Street.

Nelson says there will be 100 bikes given away and nearly 1,000 toys for attendees. Toys will be distributed while supplies last. Children must be present with their parent or guardian to receive a gift.

Nelson adds that there will be hot dogs, hot chocolate, donuts, candy bags, and a free book give away by Book’Em.

Attendees can also take pictures with Santa.
