Bibb County Sheriff’s Office receives plaque for certification

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was presented with a plaque acknowledging its certification through the State of Georgia Law Enforcement certification program.

The status is a progressive way of helping enforcement agencies calculate and improve their overall performances.

“One thing that we had going for us is we were basically building a new agency with the merge of Macon police department and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office”,  says Bibb County Sheriff David Davis.

The sheriff’s office began its certification process in January 2013.
