Bibb County Sheriff’s Office prepares community for traffic during first home game at Mercer University
Drivers are encouraged to utilize inner city/county streets to keep I-75 traffic to a minimal.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is preparing the public for traffic during the first home game at Mercer University on Thursday.
According to a media release, rush hour traffic will be affected from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says that citizens are urged to take an alternate route other than Mercer University Drive, into and out of downtown Macon.
Drivers are encouraged to utilize inner city/county streets to keep I-75 traffic to a minimal.
Deputies will be working with the Mercer Police Department to keep traffic flowing.
