Bibb County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in Memorial Gym shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in connection to the August shooting at Memorial Gym.

According to a news release, 26-year-old Davis Emmanuel Gay was taken into custody around 11:15 a.m., Wednesday. He was wanted in connection to the shooting of Terrell Evans, Tavres Evans and Trevon Wood.

Gay is charged with aggravated assault, participation in criminal street gang activity and he has an outstanding bench warrant for an unrelated charge. Gay has a bond of $3,500 for the unrelated charge. No bond has been set for the other charges.
