Bibb County Sheriff’s Office looking for suspect in attempted commercial robbery
The attempted robbery took place on June 20 at Family Dollar.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted commercial robbery that happened at Family Dollar in Macon Thursday morning.
According to deputies, a masked male subject entered the store, located at 2584 Rocky Creek Road, just after 11:30 a.m. and brandished a firearm.
The store clerks fled from the masked male and escaped the store, according to deputies.
Deputies say the suspect was unsuccessful in obtaining anything from behind the register and fled towards Bloomfield Road. No one was injured.
The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, facemask and pants with white stripes. He also wore gray shoes.
