Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigating fatal shooting on Andrews Drive

The shooting occurred within the 3800 block of Andrews Drive.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place in the 3800 block of Andrews Drive on Tuesday at 1:04 a.m.

Deputies found an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound behind a residence. Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley pronounced the male dead at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old David Maynard Morris Jr. of Macon.

Investigators are currently working to determine what led up to the shooting.
