Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigating Friday night armed robbery

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that happened just before 10 p.m. Friday at Circle K, located at 3889 Vineville Avenue.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that happened just before 10 p.m. Friday at Circle K, located at 3889 Vineville Avenue.

According to deputies, a witness reported that a man walked into the store waving a firearm.

They say he then approached the register and demanded money from the clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the gas station on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as wearing all dark clothing. He had a black motorcycle helmet and a gray T-shirt was covering his face.
