Bibb County Sheriff’s Office hosts its annual Santa in the Park

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Outreach Section hosted its annual Santa in the Park.  The event was held at Central City Park in downtown Macon.

Deputies gave away toys and bikes to children.  They also provided them with free hair-cuts, lunch, games and door prizes.

“We’re just showing appreciation, you know, to the community from the sheriff’s department to our young people,” says Lt. Ellis Sinclair.

Outreach booths were also at the event informing the community about services that are offered throughout the city.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has been hosting Santa in the Park for more than 10 years.
