Bibb County Sheriff’s Office cancels job fair scheduled for today

UPDATE: According to a post on the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, this event has been canceled for today.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a career fair to recruit new deputies.

Sergeant Amanda Baker will be on hand to discuss the requirements of becoming a Deputy Sheriff and share insights into life behind the badge.

The event is today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tubman African American Museum, 310 Cherry Street. The Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff positions.

Interested individuals can ask questions and learn more about the hiring process.
