Bibb County Sheriff’s Office asking for assistance identifying suspect connected to aggravated assault, victim shot

The aggravated assault took place at 3:42 a.m. at the Shell Food Mart, which is located at 4331 Pio Nono Avenue. 

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to an aggravated assault incident on Saturday, according to a media release.

The aggravated assault took place at 3:42 a.m. at the Shell Food Mart, which is located at 4331 Pio Nono Avenue.

According to the media release, it was reported that several people were loitering at this location when someone started firing shots.

A 25-year-old man was struck by gunfire and driven to a local hospital by personal vehicle. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition. Everyone left the scene when deputies arrived.
