Bibb County Sheriff’s deputy arrested for using excessive force

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested for using excessive force during an arrest.

According to a news release, 23-year-old Deputy Seth Conner hit a woman while she was handcuffed in the back of his patrol vehicle in March.

Deputy Conner was placed on desk duty while an internal investigation was conducted on this incident and a suicide call where Conner was reported lossing his temper, being verbally abusive and threatening the patient.

Conner has been fired from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and his charged with battery and violation of oath of office.
