Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies investigate Newberg Avenue shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are working to find out who shot a man on Newburg Avenue in Macon, Sunday night.

According to a news release, 18-year-old Arquallis Coger was walking on Newberg Avenue around 11:30 p.m., when he heard multiple gunshots in the area. Coger started running and noticed he was shot in the chest and hand.

He was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
