Bibb County Kids Serve their Elders

Local kids spent some time with their elders Tuesday.  The Mentors Project served food at the Bibb County Senior Center.  It was part of the 12th annual Inter-Generational Day.  The Mentors Project Founder says this day is a great way for our young people to give back.

“The Mentors Project protege know that staying in school and getting an education is important. Giving back to the community is important too. It is not just about them, but it is about everybody,” explained June O’Neal, Mentors Project founder.
