Bibb County Interim Superintendent reads to students
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The new Bibb County Interim Superintendent is introducing herself to students.
Dr. Kelley Castlin-Gacutan read a book to children at Vineville Academy Friday morning. She even put on a robe and Santa hat to match the pajama-themed school day.
Dr. Castlin-Gacutan tells 41NBC, even though she officially takes her position in the middle of the school year, she’s working hard to finish it strong.
“I know that my focus will be on looking at the operational system for the district. Really moving in the direction to determine whether we will go charter school system, I-E square, or status quo,” explained Dr. Castlin-Gacutan.
Dr. Castlin-Gacutan will start her new role on January first.
